Sorry!

Hey everyone! I've been getting some e-mails lately on when I'm going to get the next chapter of The Keeper out and I just want to apologize for the long wait. I did get a ways into it when I ran into a writer's block and am still inflicted with it. I can't say for sure how long it will be, but I would rather make you guys wait for a well written chapter than hurry through it and have you guys (and myself) hate it. So, sorry for the wait and it'll be a little longer, but I promise it'll be worth it.

  1. Thanks for the update. I've been wondering when Keeper 5 would be released. I agree with you about waiting for a well written chapter. I will wait, but I'm on pins and needles or in other words I can't wait.

  3. Thanks for telling us. Better to know what's up than to wonder. I write myself and knows how frustrating it can be. Try to not think about the story at all for a day or two and then let it slip back into your thoughts, I find that helps sometimes. Good Luck! =)

  4. Please dont do a ´´someone dies´´ cliche in the up coming chapters. Try rather something different, dont make it easy nor make it sad. Tell it like it is. Id bet ya that if you were in the same position,, you would wish for a good outcome. Sure there will be some non fun things,, meaning a parent not accepting etc.

Take ya time, dont waste it on something thats been done there before. Keep the storie going,, have the older one join the military. There you really have something to shhh about and make it more ?? what happens next!

    Best regards,

  6. Wild Cat please don't listen to anything that Jan. 19th 2:43pm said because you shouldn't let others tell you where your story should go and let your heart be guide. A tip for writers block, just don't think about it for a while.

  7. Meh, I hear the Writer's Block can be a drag. Not that I'm gloating or anything, but I've never had it; my problem is that I constantly have too many ideas and I struggle over myself about which ones to do and which ones to put on the backburner.

What's Writer's Block like? Is it like, not knowing what to write or is it more like not feeling up to it or something? I've always wondered about that.

  8. Kaiser,
Writer's Block is absolutely horrible, for me anyways. It is both not knowing what to write and not feeling up to it. Right now, I know where I want The Keeper to go, I just have no clue as to how to get there. I've thought of a million different scenarios, but when I put them down, they all feel like they're horrible ideas and I delete it. Since I just get frustrated with it, I don't feel like writing anymore, which really blows :( You are very lucky that you are not afflicted with it.
I also have a lot of ideas for stories, but usually I only "obsess" over one where I think about it more than the others. So, since I can't do anything about my WB right now, I'm focusing on a different story and on what I can do with that. Maybe it'll give me some idea as to what to do with The Keeper.
Thank you all for your suggestions, but I do know where the story is going, it's just a matter of finding a way to get there. Again, sorry for the delay at such a cliffhanger :(

  9. Why the hell would one of them join the military? That's retarded. They're not the kind of people that would do that, would ruin the story. Kthxbai

  11. I too check everday, because your Keeper story is like no other. While your writers block is still being overcome, can we( your readers) have that other story you talked about.

  12. Ah, that other story. I just want to let you know, Anonymous, that my writing style is...different, I think. I get an idea and I think about it for a long time until I have to put it down, no matter where it takes place in the time line of that story (ex: beginning, middle, or end). Right now, that other story has about 3 pages of the beginning and everything else is just jumping around so much that I'd be the only person that could possibly make sense of anything. I just use those kinds of stories to divert my attention away from the story I'm having trouble writing. Perhaps, if I do find some way of getting that story, which is called Taken Away, to form a coherent story line, then I'd post it up, but right now it's a mess. Sorry :(
But, good news on the Keeper, I was suddenly smacked over the head with an idea. I'll have to mull it over for a short while, but I'll say that it is a huge step towards getting rid of my writer's block!! So, just be a little patient everyone!! I'll be back with The Keeper soon!
